We appreciate your support as the students work tirelessly to put together another amazing production over the next five months and grow into a theatre family. While this is a busy endeavor that takes quite a bit of time, energy, and commitment from everyone involved, it is incredibly rewarding once the curtain parts and the final product of hundreds of hours comes to life.
It never fails to be spectacular!

This page is intended for use by directors, students, and parents and all are welcome to post on the page. We use this group page to deliver reminder announcements, last minute changes, and information that needs to be delivered quickly. This page often gets more updates than the web site, which is primarily for the calendar and important forms.
We ask that students arrive at rehearsals promptly at the start time and for parents to let the director know ahead of time via email if you foresee any conflicts. Students are expected to be at all scheduled rehearsals that they are asked to attend, and missing more than three could result in removal from a role. The schedule will be updated no less than a week in advance, so please check the calendar on this site frequently for any changes. Also, please encourage students to bring work to do during rehearsal down times. While we make every effort to coordinate rehearsals to students are utilized on stage or the choir room as much as possible, there will be times when they may be waiting while another part of the show is being covered.
If a stage crew member knows in advance that they will not be able to attend a call, they must let the Stage Manager know. The Stage Manager for Nice Work is senior Rebecca Walker.
Ticketing information will be announced on this site and Facebook pages closer to show dates; we are projecting a live-sale date of March 6, 2018. Tickets will be available online and at the door. Cost is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for students. All seats are assigned, so order early for the best seats!
Gene Kelly Awards
Hampton is a proud participant in the CLO Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre, or simply know as "The Kellys." This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to be recognized among their peers across Allegheny County for excellence in musical theatre, Hampton has been annually participating in The Kelleys since 2006 and has been nominated for Best Musical seven times since then, winning the award three times. A nomination for Best Musical provides our cast with the opportunity to perform on the Benedum stage at the Gene Kelly Awards on May 26, 2018 and recognizes the hard work and dedication that all of the students have put into the production. The Kellys also offer several scholarship opportunities for interested students that participate in the musical, both for students persuing theatre in college, and those that are not.
